A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Brian, The goal of my treatment and service is to improve quality of life so that you're no longer limited by your phobia. As you learn how to better manage and relate to your reactions, thoughts and feelings. You'll find that your anxiety or fear are reduced and even eliminated and are no longer in control of your life. I am passionate about helping people to make long lasting and positive change, supporting them to live a life they truly want for themselves.

I specialise in helping you to find the true cause of your problem and then resolving it for good with hypnosis, hypnotherapy or NLP. You may be suffering from the symptoms of Anxiety, Stress, Low Self Esteem or low mood. Perhaps you have a Fear or Phobia or a Sexual Problem which is preventing you from living a rewarding life.

Why not just call for a free chat and find out how I can help you.

With the increased self-awareness that occurs, more options become available and people are able to make decisions that are better for them, rather than reactive decisions based on anger, fear or stress. You don’t feel so threatened and have more capacity to respond to a situation, rather than just react. The combination of NLP and Hypnosis provides the most advanced hypnotic processes available.

I completed my Dip Modern Psychology with the Mind Academy and now practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master Neuro-Linquistic Practitioner registered with the Australian Hypnotherapy Association.

I use hypnotherapy to help you to make changes in your thoughts, feelings, habits or behaviours.  It is completely natural and feels just like daydreaming.  In this state, your mind is able to take on board new ways of thinking and feeling at a deep level.

On a personal level, I became interested in practicing a naturalistic Hypnosis approach to pain management assisting the medical pain management plan your health care physician currently may  have you on.

I found Phenomena in Hypnosis and Clinical Hypnotherapy used with compassion were a perfect set of tools to explore modality changes in us as opposed to the various other treatments and options available by conventional methods which assisted in the short to medium term but were not as effective long term or were cost prohibitive.

EXPERIENCE

Plainly speaking, I found some worked while others failed and became costly to administer. So from the wreck of failure persistence became a road well travelled leading me in the direction of the prestigious The Mind Academy and founder Alistair Horscroft who's approach is of unlocking the unconscious mind and tapping into your positive self .

The Mind Academy is a Fully Accredited College where they have been coaching and training in hypnosis for over a decade.  Students from all over the world have trained in a curriculum that is a genuine counterpart to traditional/clinical psychology, providing real solutions for what people really want. Be that freedom from anxiety, depression, procrastination, confusion and fear and other similar psycho-biological, emotional issues or the clarity, tools and knowledge to achieve success and wellbeing in health and relationships to name just a few.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a definition:

Dr Richard Bandler invented the term "Neuro-Linguistic Programming" in the 1970s and was recently asked to write the definition of Neuro-Linguistic Programming that appears in the Oxford English Dictionary.  It says:

Neuro-Linguistic Programming: "a model of interpersonal communication chiefly concerned with the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the subjective experiences (esp. patterns of thought) underlying them" and "a system of alternative therapy based on this which seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour."

Inspired by pioneers in fields of therapy development and personal growth, developed systematic procedures and theories that formed the basis of NLP.

They studied three therapists who were at the top of their field: Virginia Satir, the extraordinary family therapist, who consistently was able to resolve difficult family relationships that many other therapists found intractable, the innovative psychotherapist Fritz Perls, who originated the school of therapy known as Gestalt Therapy, and Milton Erickson, the world-famous hypnotherapist.

Their goal was to develop models of how it was that these people got the results they did and these patterns became the underlying structure of NLP, with names like: meta-model, submodalities, reframing, language patterns, well formedness conditions and eye accessing clues.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY?

"I've had the pleasure of being Brian's test case during his journey in hypnosis.
Brian's been helping me control my pain which previously, had forced me to be reliant on strong pain medicine. This has been fantastic as I've been on many different types of very strong medicine for over 3 years.
With Brian's help I can now control my pain with standard Panadol, with rare occasions that I have resorted to stronger pain medicines.
Additionally he has helped me with the way I look at life. I'm now starting to look at life in whole new light in things, enabling me to move forward without a life of pain.
I look forward to my session with Brian as I find it extremely relaxing."

Thornlands
I always loved drawing as a child but something happened around the age of 8 and I lost my confidence and love of it.
After Brian qualified as a Master Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner I asked him if he felt he could help me to be able to draw again.
We did one session and nothing seemed to happen, until 2 weeks later when I felt the urge to draw again, wow what a feeling to want to draw again for no other reason than I really wanted to.
I didn't feel nervous or feel the need to be good at it. In fact I felt free and tried different things but most of all I really enjoyed the act of drawing.
It's like having an old friend back that I really love and not a skill I have to prove. Thank you.
